Access to administrative documents
Book III of the Code of Relations between the Public and the Administration recognises the right of any person to obtain access to documents held by an administration in the course of its public service mission, regardless of their form or medium.
This right applies to all public bodies (the State, local authorities and their public institutions) as well as to private organisations entrusted with a public service mission.
In accordance with Articles L.330-1, R. 330-2 et seq. of the Code of Relations between the Public and the Administration, the President of Gustave Eiffel University has appointed Mr Cyrille Gonon and Ms Céline Rousselot (deputy) as the persons responsible for access to administrative documents and issues relating to the reuse of public information (PRADA) by decision no. 2023PERS.035 of 12 July 2023.
In accordance with the provisions of Article R330-4 of the Code of Relations between the Public and the Administration, the person responsible for access to administrative documents and issues relating to the reuse of public information is responsible, in this capacity, for :
- Receiving requests for access to administrative documents and licences for the reuse of public information, as well as any complaints, and ensuring that they are investigated;
- Liaising between the authority to which they are appointed and the Commission for Access to Administrative Documents.
They may also be responsible for drawing up an annual report on requests for access to administrative documents and licences for the reuse of public information, which they submit to the authority that appointed them and send a copy of to the Commission for Access to Administrative Documents.
