Visit from a Tunisian delegation as part of the J.D.I.D. project
On February 29th and March 1st, the university welcomed a delegation made up of several representatives of our Tunisian partners, UN Habitat, the Institut Supérieur des Technologies de l'Environnement de l'Urbanisme et du Bâtiment (ISTEUB), the École Nationale d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme (ENAU), and the Société nationale immobilière de Tunisie (SNIT), to discuss the continuation of the Jalons pour un Développement Immobilier Durable (JDID) project and the partnership between the university and UN Habitat.
Ms Rania Hedeya, Director of UN-Habitat for the Arab zone, Ms Aida Robbana, Director of UN-Habitat's Tunisia office were present, as were Ms Chiraz Gafsia for UN-Habitat Tunisia, Ms Olfa Ben Medien for ISTEUB, Ms Saloua Ferjani for ENAU, and Ms Faten Zakhama and Mr Mohamed Bouhaha for SNIT.
Supported by UN-Habitat in collaboration with Tunisian partners and the university, this project aims to co-design, as part of a national and international programme, an update of the Agba 2 property programme. It is a multi-disciplinary initiative involving a number of players, including teachers, researchers, city and regional professionals, as well as students from the university's Sustainable Urban Development (DUD) Masters programme.
The meeting was also an opportunity for Gilles Roussel, President of the Université Gustave Eiffel, to sign a letter of intent for the future creation of a partnership chair with UN-Habitat. Through a multi-disciplinary approach and a social innovation process, this chair will be part of the implementation of actions to promote sustainable development in the cities and regions of North Africa.
Les 29 février et 1er mars, l’université a accueilli une délégation composée des plusieurs représentants de nos partenaires tunisiens, l’ONU Habitat, l'Institut Supérieur des Technologies de l'Environnement de l'Urbanisme et du Bâtiment (ISTEUB), l'École Nationale d'Architecture et d'Urbanisme (ENAU), et la Société nationale immobilière de Tunisie (SNIT), afin d’échanger sur la poursuite du projet Jalons pour un Développement Immobilier Durable (JDID) et du partenariat entre l’université et l’ONU Habitat.
Madame Rania Hedeya, directrice d’ONU Habitat pour la zone arabe, Madame Aida Robbana, directrice du bureau Tunisie d’ONU Habitat étaient présentes, ainsi que Madame Chiraz Gafsia pour ONU Habitat Tunisie, Madame Olfa Ben Medien pour l’ISTEUB, Madame Saloua Ferjani pour l'ENAU, et Madame Faten Zakhama et Monsieur Mohamed Bouhaha pour la SNIT.
Porté par l’ONU Habitat en collaboration avec les partenaires tunisiens et l’université, ce projet vise à co-concevoir, dans le cadre d'un programme national et international, une mise à jour du programme immobilier Agba 2. Il s'agit d'une initiative multidisciplinaire et impliquant plusieurs acteurs, notamment des enseignants, des chercheurs, des professionnels de la ville et des territoires mais aussi les étudiants du Master Développement urbaine durable (DUD) de l’université.
Cette rencontre a également été l’occasion pour Gilles Roussel, président de l’Université Gustave Eiffel, de signer une lettre d’intention pour la future création d’une chaire partenariale avec l’ONU Habitat. Cette chaire, à travers une approche pluridisciplinaire et une démarche d’innovation sociale, s’inscrit dans la mise en œuvre d’action en faveur du développement durable dans les villes et territoires du Maghreb.
