Université Gustave Eiffel enters the Shanghai ranking

Université Gustave Eiffel has been included in the prestigious ranking of the world's 1,000 best universities - a pleasant surprise for our new institution.

Good news for our institution as this summer draws to a close. Université Gustave Eiffel has joined the prestigious Shanghai Ranking of the world's 1000 best universities''. It is ranked 701-800th.

"This entry demonstrates the success of the projects to bring universities together, driven by the Future Investment Programme (PIA). In the case of our university, bringing together UPEM, IFSTTAR and the four member schools, EAV&T, EIVP, ENSG and ESIEE Paris, has probably increased the number of publications in category A journals and thus significantly boosted the profile of our very young institution. It's obviously a pleasant surprise to appear in this ranking ", remarks a delighted Hélène Jacquot-Guimbal, the university's acting Vice-Chancellor.

France is ranked 3rd in the world in the 2020 Top 20, behind the United States and the United Kingdom. This includes three universities in the Top 50, including one in the Top 20. Our country has a total of 30 establishments in the Top 1000.
